A few days after I purchased the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit, I got the chance to try it out. I applied a contour shade of powder to just below my cheekbones and then I applied the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit to my cheekbones. I then blended both the contour shade and the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit in with my blush brush. I immediately noticed that the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit blended in very easily.
As the day went on while I was wearing the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit, I looked in a mirror at a clothing store and realized the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit looked way too dark on my skin. Apparently, the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit just wasn't a good shade for my ivory skintone. Since I couldn't use the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit as a cheek blush or cheek highlighter, I decided to try to use it as a cheek contour shade.
The next day, I tried using the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit as a cheek contour shade. I applied the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit just below my cheekbones and blended it in. I looked in the mirror and noticed that the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit looked very good as a cheek contour shade. So, although the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit was too dark to use as a cheekbone blush or highlighter, I was able to use it as a cheek contour shade.
Overall, I really liked the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit as a contour shade, but I highly doubt I will be repurchasing the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit in the future. I wanted to be able to use the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit as more than a contour shade since I paid so much for it. I think that the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit is a good quality product, but unfortunately it just wouldn't work for me. Considering the price I paid for it, I wish the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish in Gold Deposit would've worked out better for me.
