The day after I purchased the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact, I got the chance to try it out. I tried using the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact as a base for some pink eyeshadow. I applied the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact without using a brush - I simply put some of the paint on my finger and blended it onto my eyelids. I noticed that the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact was a bit difficult to blend, due to it's texture. I had to keep applying it bit by bit in order to properly cover my eyelid with the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact product. I wasn't too impressed with the non-easy blending of the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact.
After I applied the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact to my eyelids, I let it dry a bit and then applied a bright pink eye shadow to my eyelids. I then blended the pink eye shadow on my eyelids. I immediately noticed that the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact had made the bright pink eye shadow look even brighter and more intense than it normally did. I was quite impressed by how nice the pink eye shadow looked when blended over top of the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact.
As the day progressed, I noticed that the eye shadow that I had applied to my eyelids resisted creasing. The pink eye shadow that I was wearing on my eyelids didn't crease at all that day that I was wearing it. I think the non-creasing was due to the fact that I was wearing the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact under the pink eye shadow.
The MAC Paint Pot in Artifact was quite difficult for me to blend on my eyelids at first; but after awhile of using it, I got used to it. The lack of easiness in blending is my only complaint regarding the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact. I would definitely recommend the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact for anyone looking for a good base or primer for their pink or red colored eye shadows (as I've noticed that it also works well with red colored eye shadows.) I think the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact is a very good product, and is definitely worth what I paid for it. I will definitely be repurchasing the MAC Paint Pot in Artifact in the future.
