The day after I purchased the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby, I finally got the opportunity to apply it to my eyelashes. The Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby seemed to apply very well to my eyelashes. As I applied two coats of the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby, I didn't notice it clumping up or anything. I was pretty happy about how smoothly the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby applied to my eyelashes.
The Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby showed up a very, very dark maroon color on my eyelashes. The Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby looked a bit strange on my eyelashes at first (I thought.) Then, I got used to the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby during the day and thought it looked pretty cool. The Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby definitely has a very unique shade about it.
I found that the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby did remove quite easily with eye makeup remover. I also found that the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby could be equally as well removed with either baby oil or olive oil. In other words, I didn't have any problems with removing the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby from my eyelashes when I wanted to. Some mascara can be difficult to remove, but I'm thankful that wasn't the case with the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby.
Overall, I didn't find that the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby did anything exceptional for my eyelashes. The Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby did lengthen and thicken my eyelashes a bit, but nothing more than what any mascara would do for my eyelashes. I didn't find the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby to be a very exceptionally great product.
I must admit that I do really like the cool color of the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby. I may repurchase the Revlon Doubletwist Mascara in Blackened Ruby again in the future due to the fact that I like the color of it so much.

Post a CommentHas anyone experienced an injury to the eye using this wand? The red tip on mine was VERY VERY sharp and it scratched my cornea. It is a severe injury and may last a liftime. I wrote to Revlon and they said they would refund my money with a receipt and the return of the product. I'm NOT looking for money or refunds. Not looking to sue ....just wanted to warn them of the sharp tip. It may just be a defect in mine ,but they need to take a look at all of them. Please be careful!!
Its probably one of the worst mascara's I have ever bought. It was gross. It was all over the brush and went all over my eyes. So mad I wasted $8 on this. Have been using the stuff inside with another wand I have. DO NOT BUY!
This mascara (Revlon Double Twist)clumped up disgustingly on the brush from the time I first opened it. I would definitely not recommend it to anyone.
