My Review of Taxslayer Tax Preparation Website

Tax time is right around the corner, the time sure does go by quickly for tax time. There is a great website that you can do your taxes at online quickly and easily. It's Taxslayer. The list of states that Taxslayer supports and the listing of whether you can e-file for each state is listed on the website. You can check here to see if they will be able to do your State taxes along with the Federal Taxes. This website will allow you to fill out your forms including most of the state forms and you can electronically send it from the website. You can do this all in one sitting and they will check the returns for errors and give you suggestions on things that you can or should deduct on your taxes to save you money. The have 2 different ways that you can fill out your forms online or download the program to your computer and then upload the returns. You can also start your return then come back and finish at a later time, you just create a username and a password. Taxslayer will keep your information for the next year so that you can just add the new information into the forms but then they will give you the forms that you used the previous year.

I like using Taxslayer; it was convenient and easy to use. This is my 5^th year using the website to do my taxes. They will give you dates that your check will be deposited into your checking account if you want your refund automatically deposited on the website. You can also get a refund anticipation loan from the website if you qualify. To do both the state and Federal forms was only $9.99, which you can pay with a credit card. This was all I many different schedules attached to my return, this wasn't the 1040EZ return that I did.

I like the emails that I receive from Taxslayer telling me exactly where my return is and what is happening with the return. I got an email to inform me that IRS and my state had received my returns then as soon as the IRS accepted the return I was sent another email from Taxslayer telling it was accepted. I liked knowing that it was accepted and received. They will even give you a copy of the conformation numbers.

Taxslayer isn't a new company, they have been around several years, emailing support is a breeze and they get back to you quickly answering your question that you send them. I recommend Taxslayer if you are looking for a place to do your taxes online.
