My Second Gift Cellphone

This phone is small and it is a flip cellphone.The advantage with a flip cellphone is that if somebody calls you,all you have to do to answer the call is to flip it open and you are ready to talk.

Accessories.
You get a travel charger,a 3.7 volt lithium ion battery and a stereo headset with the cellphone.The headset can be used both for answering calls and for listening to the FM radio.The battery charges in about 2 to 3 hours.In the owners manual it is listed that you would get about 450 hours of talk time on the charge.The standby time is listed as 250 hours.These are all very good in terms of battery performance.Also because the battery is lithium ion,it cannot be overcharged.I usually put my phone on the charger and go to sleep.The travel charger is convenient for those people that do a lot of traveling.It is real small and light weight.

Text messaging is available on the phone.The screen is very small but you can type in your text messages using a feature call t-9.T-9 guess the words for you and once you get familiar with it,it becomes very easy for you to type messages on the small screen and send them.The text message works well for the little amount of messages that I have send and receive so far.

There is an FM radio that comes with the phone also.The radio works with the headset.It is a digital tuning radio making it much easier for you to pick up the stations.You can manually scroll down looking for stations or you can scan and capture the stations that you desire.

There is a built in camera which is VGA.I have taken a number of photos and they appear quite clear for a small cellphone.The photos that you take could be used as a wallpaper display or you can use some of them for your phone book entries or just store them in the phone memory.

Making calls
For me this is the most important feature in a cellphone.This is the second Motorola cellphone that I am using and I would have to say that the sound quality on the few calls that I have made and receive has been pretty good.As clear as a bell is how I would describe the sound quality.

The phone book entries
You can store up to 100 names and numbers in the phone book memory.That is just fine with the number of people that I know.If you need more phone entries you can always use the memory of the SIM card.

There is Bluetooth which is good for interfacing with other electronic devices.I do not use the feature but it is available for those that need it.

You can also surf the internet on the telephone.You have to pay for the service through your carrier.I must warn you though that the screen on the cellphone is pretty small so it can be quite challenging to read the information that is available on the screen while surfing the internet.

The rest of the features of the cellphone
They include an alarm clock,a calender,a calculator,a currency exchange converter,games that include football,Sudoku and Tetris,a stopwatch,a time and date stamp,a built in clock with adjustment for different time zones,a signal indicator,a 2 minute back lite display that comes in handy as a flashlight when the lights go out.
