When you go through temptations from satan's ploys
If you stand firm in your faith, you'll receive
The wisdom and strength, given to women who believe
And imagine this, when your faith is being tried
Your patience will grow, you'll be changing inside
Remember, wavering not is an absolute must
God says, " In me you must put your complete trust "
Without that trust, you'll be like a wave in the sea
Driven with the wind and tossed mightily
So Sisters in Christ be ever so strong
Cling to the Father, all the day long
He will hold to your hand and walk with you
No matter what trials you have, God WILL see you through.

Post a CommentI love your poetry. You have a wonderful way of expressing yourself.
Thank you April, I appreaciate your comments very much. Yes, satan does know all of our weaknesses and he knows when to push our buttons, when we will be the most vulnerable....... but one day there will be no more weaknesses, we are asurred of that ! I read your piece on a woman putting a man before God. I REALLY identified with that one! I voted but it was late, so I decided to wait to comment until this morning. I also suscribed to your site, and faved you too. I like your work and will surely read it all. ~ Peace ~ Nancie
Nancie, what a beautiful paraphrase! Yes, as long as we're on earth, we will have trouble. Jesus told us that. Won't it be a glorious day when we enter our REAL life? I'm looking forward to it more each day. (I faved you and subscribed. Looking forward to reading more by you!)
