My Special Christmas

Christmas is a Time to Remember

Frank Girard
Things have been difficult for our young children because we have to not always been able to give them everything they have wanted. We live in an extremely wealthy community and are just getting by. They always see there friends getting new toys and clothing and sometimes we have to say no when they ask us for the same things.

Last Christmas we decided we were going to make it up to them and finally buy them that puppy they always wanted. One of our friends just got a puppy and my kids always go over to their house and play with it. My husband, John, and I just want to make our kids happy and give them childhood memories that will last throughout their entire life.

Now that my husband has a steady job we will be able to give this new puppy exactly what it needs to be happy. We decided that instead of just getting one puppy, we were going to get two so that we could really fill the house with joy this Christmas.

My husband and I wanted to make Christmas morning last year extremely special for our kids. We spent hours and hours trying to figure out the perfect way to give our kids two brand new puppies, but we just couldn't think of anything. Then, it hit me, I got an amazing idea of how we could surprise our kids.

Our two sons share a room with each other upstairs in our house. They both have separate beds that are extremely close to the floor. During the night we suck into their room with a small Christmas tree and decorated it. Early in the morning around ten o clock we brought in these two puppies to their room. We placed each puppy on top of their bed at the same time and slowly watched as they woke up. The puppies began licking their face with love and my two sons were overjoyed with happiness. That is my personal Christmas story hopefully you have some that are just as good!

What a wonderful gift! That gift was more priceless than anything else you could have given. Thanks for sharing this.
