We wined; we dined beneath the starry, moonlit, sky
You held me close; and our two hearts beat as one
Moonlight shined on your face, then you smiled at me
A special Valentine, my valentine, you will always be
The night was young; DJ played our favorite song
Again we danced, we laughed, it was oh, so, fun
My Valentine, you are my special Valentine
You touched my hand; I felt so loved, felt so secure
My valentine, I feel special being here with you
The music stopped, and then I looked into your eyes
I heard a bang! It was my telephone that rang
Sat up in bed, I was alone and you were gone,
Now, wide awake, remembering you're far from home
Away so far; that horrid thing called war
Tonight we touched, though we are far apart
Not even war, nor distance can taunt our love
A special love, reserved with-in our hearts
Tonight we touched, we danced, we wined, we dined
