just a small space for such beauty divine.
Plethora of hues to tend and nurture,
planted and pampered, majestic design.
Today, now I see the tulips rise up,
planted in rows by the work shed last fall.
Each bloom will open, a colorful cup,
and the tulip tree's buds are awake - all.
A Butterfly Bush is sprouting green gems,
each one, a snow-white beauty in its time.
Monarchs and Painted Ladies search each stem,
seek sweetened blooms soon to rise in their prime.
The white rose blushes as sun at eventide
sinks slowly behind hills of velvet green.
In regal beauty, she humbly abides
as royalty - an unsuspecting queen.
And now for tomatoes, veggies and all,
we need to till a special garden plot.
A sanctuary filled with light, not pall,
A source from Heaven's pastures, this our lot..

Very nice. I love the next to last stanza where you compare the white roses bushes to an unsuspecting queen. Just great!
You'd murder me. I just chopped down a butterfly bush yesterday! Purple blooms. The stems were getting to thick and woody.
