My Ten Favorite Celebrity Twitter Accounts

This is probably my favorite AC assignment to date because it involved something I do everyday - Twitter! I love checking my twitter accounts; yes I have more than one, doesn't everyone? Below you will find a list of my top ten best celebrity twitter accounts and why they made it to my favorites list. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

What - Celebrity Gossip

Why - Like a lot of people I am addicted to celebrity gossip. I don't believe most of it but I can't help but read it; it is kind of like the accident you can't stop staring at.

What - Actor, Producer

Why - Ashton promotes a variety of causes on his twitter site like the Red Cross and other relief efforts. He tweets daily and often adds a little humor to my day.

What - Actress

Why - Mrs. Kutcher (or Demi Moore) has been a prominent face in American society since her day in "St. Elmo's Fire" which is why I enjoy reading about her life - which she tweets several times a week.

What - Actress, Producer, Sportscaster

Why - I have always been a fan of Alyssa Milano and find her tweets entertaining and informative. She also supports a lot of causes and many times you will find her tweeting about baseball.

What - Actor, Screenwriter, Director, Producer

Why - Love me some Kevin Smith! I have been following his movies and his acting career for years and I think that he provides an interesting outlook on our world today. Not only are his ventures in the movie industry fun they usually have some kind of message for society today. He includes these same ideals in his tweets.

What - Musician, Songwriter, Producer, Actor, Lead Singer DMB

Why - Dave doesn't post often but his posts are thought provoking and genuine. Because he is Dave Matthews and I love his music I am inclined to forgive the absences between posts.

What - Musician, Songwriter, Bass Guitar for DMB

Why - Stefan Lessard can be seen as the voice of DMB (Dave Matthews Band). Although he doesn't post on behalf of the band, through his tweets you will often see what it is like for him as a member of one of the most popular bands on the road today. He tweets most days and often through out the day and you will get a glimpse of his life through his pictures and his words.

What - Comedian

Why - Jon Reep is HILARIOUS!!! I started following him when he was a contestant on NBC's "The Last Comic Standing". He is from a small country town and any true redneck is going to love him.

What - Musician

Why - Although I like his music, I am not a huge fan of John Mayer. He is however one of the more popular tweeters out there and he does post often.

What - Actress

Why - Lisa tweets almost daily and her tweets are light and somewhat humorous - although I am not certain she means for them to be. But she is fun to read anyway.
