friendships that bring a smile,
encouragement to help me keep going.
Thanksgiving will last a long while.
Inspirations in the sweetest pumpkin pies,
that grant much to my life through the days.
A visual delight in all the place settings,
where in my heart everyone stays.
This Thanksgiving, not just one day but many,
gratitude surrounds in comfort and laughter,
plentiful a feast,
fulfillment of the soul long after.
A Thanksgiving for the memories,
for family, friends, to which much is shared,
a Thanksgiving for the ones who cast a tearful joy,
in supporting hearts that I didn't know cared.
This is a year for the most special thanks,
for all those who surround me,
for those I love that I've always known,
and for those who've become part of my heart's family.
Much gratitude I cannot state in words,
but so sweet like pumpkin pie.
Thanks to all for everything you've added to my life,
in this over-flowing plate of treats piled high.
