Basically we(as Americans) think of the Pakistanis as terrorists, when they themselves think they are doing the right thing. America sending troops over is basically showing the Iraqis that we can be just like them or worse.
Violence begets violence, and sadly it's a never-ending cycle, and yet its interesting that it didn't start on the September 11th attacks. No it started years before. That attack was a simple revenge attack., which led us to assault back. As I said before it never ends.
There are ways to end it, but why settle for just peace? Because peace doesn't consist of explosions, deaths, famine, or war, peace consists of being civil, humane, and compassionate, something that it seems we don't have the tolerance for. United we stand, now, but what about the years before or the years ahead?
We never stood together before ... and i doubt we will stand together till this "war" is over. One attack has got the entire U.S. in shambles, and ideas of the third world war. War against terrorism is like trying to fight rules, it's hard to do when all it is, is a piece of paper. So why waste the little amount of money that America has left in her economy to fight air?Why wage war on someone who hardly knows how to fight back, who hardly knows what life truly is?
There are so many different solutions to this one problem, but how do you get a person to listen to peace, when all they have ever known was violence? Both sides have every right to be angry, both sides have known violence their whole lives, so what equation is to come of this?
Yes, I agree we cannot just walk away, yet I don't agree in killing more people. I was always taught that violence is not the answer, and true, it is not, this time of "crisis" is definitely not the time for any more of it. So why war? Why violence? America is America, so why can't Iraq be Iraq? Why do we question their belief's? Everything we "stand" for is freedom of religion and freedom of speech.
Yet we can't respect what they believe in when we can't even respect our own country. We only stand "united" because of one incident, all the years before this we never truly believed we could, yet now we show a sudden faith, how ironic.
I understand that we need to keep in contact with certain foreign countries for oil purposes, can't these "relationships" be strictly business? I don't understand why we have to stick our noses in places they really don't belong. For instance when Iraq and Pakistan were arguing over land we had to come in and give land to Iraq, basically that is what September 11th attack was about.
They are angry because we gave their land to their enemies. I don't believe that we had any right to just waltz into a place were we don't belong. But then it has been like that for the U.S. for hundreds of years right? What gives us the right?

Post a Commentpeople say dumb bombs kill too many inocents. Really ?
how many civilians were killed during desert storm and iraqi freedom ? i say the u. s. a. has a lot of unused convintional munitions that the tax payers are bleeding over which could have been conveniently been disposed of over iraq and afganistan. who cares if they killed innocent people or if they worked for that matter. i say if we would have not sent a single us person into those countries and just leveled one or two of their cities with our old outdated maybe work maybe dont surplus and cheap! weapons we would have made our point and gotten rid of our junk at much less cost to the us tax payers and their loved ones! go america! we r the most powerful country on earth and we need someone in charge to show these backward cave dwelling women beating stone throwing pieces of dung that they suck!
a deer in the woods profiles, or he would be extinct. is man not as intelligent?
Peace doesn't help the economy as much as war. Think about it.
