It always follows Halloween Cheer.
People from all sorts of places,
bow their heads in God's good graces.
They come together, in one accord.
Sitting in a chair or on a board.
Gathering around the tables of feast.
Excluded only man's pet beast.
To eat and talk about all the things,
that they have gotten or been blessed to have.
They laugh and remember friends or family past.
The ones who wer loved and went up in the sky at last.
Many times I thank my God
for allowing me the paths I have trod.
He gives to me not only when,
the next Thanksgiving's round again.
With humble heart, and thankful spirit,
and this poem and each new lyric,
I let my thankfulness be known,
even when I am all alone.
There are songs that are song, about this holiday occasion,
from all colors, black, red, and Caucasian.
The first Thanksgiving day is in every history book,
it just took bravery and a wise man's look,
into the future for his people,
the starting of our religious steeples.
Indians showed us how they came together and gave thanks,
everyone stayed on the same ranks.
Thankful for their wisdom and rewards,
even their punishment they endured.
We should all live life in this manner.
Making Thanksgiving be a heart banner.
Letting all our neighbors and friends, and family see, what a glorious time, Thanksgiving Day can be.
