My Three Choices for the Best Places to Take a First Date in Tucson

Take My Advice for a Full Day Date and You Can't Go Wrong!

These are the locations I like to take my fiancé when we need another first date. You might even take them in order and make a whole day of it. Even if you have kids, one or both of you, you can have a great time at my first choice which is Reid Park. I know it sounds kind of corny, but believe me, a relaxing walk around this beautiful park, and maybe a visit to the zoo, make a wonderfully romantic day date. Walk around the beautiful duck pond, complete with a waterfall that is great for taking pictures, sit and chat in the enchanting rose garden, or even take a whimsical ride on the swings at many of the playgrounds in the park. Enjoy this paradise in the center of town, and make her remember what it was like to feel free. Speaking of free, this is a good place to find out if you want to continue your date before you even spend a dime. I guarantee this will warm her up to you, and build up her appetite for my next suggestion.

My first choice for dinner, and second for a first date, is the always satisfying and romantic, Mama Luisa's; located near the Davis Monthan Air Force Base at, 2041 S. Craycroft. There is no better place in Tucson to enjoy an authentic Italian meal and gaze into your lovers eyes. You won't spend a small fortune making her fall in love here. Watch her swoon in the ambiance that is unlike any other, this far from Italy. Low lighting, wonderful food, and perhaps a glass of her favorite wine, and she will be feeling the sting of Cupid's arrow.

Finally, you will want to wrap up the best date she has ever had with a night on the town. I suggest taking her to Fourth Avenue. This historic district just north of downtown is perfect. Just take congress to Fourth Avenue and head north. There is so much to do, and so many places to take her, you can't help but make her happy. There is art and culture, shopping, music, cafés, clubs and lounges, and just about anything one would want to do. How could you lose? You just find a place to park, walk up the Ave and see where she leads you. This is also a good way to get to know what she likes so that you know just where to take her on your next magical adventure.
