Save Your Relationship Before It's Too Late!

Relationships break up every day. There are always warning signs of a breakup, but they may not be obvious to everyone. So how can you tell if your relationship is in trouble to the point that a breakup is right around the corner? If you know what you are looking for, you may be able to pinpoint the problems and correct them before a breakup occurs.

The Top 5 Warning Signs of A Breakup

If the contact between the two of you is becoming less and less it may be a warning sign that they are losing interest in you. Are you the one initiating most of the contact between the two of you? Do they answer a question as briefly as possible? This is one of the major warning signs of a breakup, unless there are other circumstances they are worried about, such as problems in school or with family that they may not want to burden you with.

Does your partner pick fights over really trivial things? Do they criticize you or your habits mercilessly? Don't get me wrong, I know some fighting or conflict is normal to every relationship, but if they are constantly nitpicking, it is one of the warning signs of a breakup.

When your partner starts putting your plans on the back burner or canceling plans at the last minute, it is one of the warning signs of a breakup. This shows you that you are no longer their top priority.

Did your relationship used to be 'hot and heavy' with lots of hugging, kissing, and casual touching? Do you feel like you are now in the barren, dry desert of affection? This too is one of the warning signs of a breakup.

Lying is another of the warning signs of a breakup. Any time you can't be honest with each other, something is wrong in the relationship. So if you are catching your partner telling even 'little white lies', this indicates they may be looking to get out of the relationship.

There are other warning signs of a breakup, but these are probably the most common signs to be looking for.

If you are seeing some of these warning signs, but you don't want the relationship to end, what can you do about it? There are a lot of things you can do to find ways to save a relationship. There are also some things you should definitely not do if you want to avoid a breakup.
