10. A Charlie Brown Christmas: In the very first Peanuts special, Charlie Brown discovers the true meaning of the holiday season while trying to direct a Christmas play. There is plenty of humor for audiences of all ages to enjoy, and Linus' speech about the meaning of Christmas should be required viewing for everyone.

9. Mickey's Christmas Carol: Ebeneezer Scrooge McDuck learns how his evil ways brings pain to himself and many others and vows to turn over a new leaf. This Disney version of the Charles Dickens classic is heartwarming and keeps the Disney charm intact rather well.

8. The Little Drummer Boy: A young boy whose parents were murdered has vowed to hate all people, until the birth of Jesus Christ makes him think otherwise. Lessons of love and compassion, and a wonderful performance of the title song, make this special worth checking out.

7. Sonic Christmas Blast: Can Sonic the Hedgehog save Christmas before Robotnik ruins the holiday for everybody? A humorous and surprising charming special that is ideal for Sonic fans.

6. The Year Without a Santa Claus: When Santa decides to take the year off, there may not be a Christmas. Enjoyable from start to finish, and the Heat Miser and Snow Misers' themes are irresistible.

5. How the Grinch Stole Christmas: The Grinch feels that he can ruin Christmas by swiping all the presents in Whoville, but he has a surprise coming his way. Along with A Christmas Carol, this is the definitive example of changing one's evil ways just in time for Christmas, and a charming one at that.

4. Twas the Night Before Bumpy: Based on Bump in the Night, Mr. Bumpy travels to the North Pole to swipe Santa's bag full of presents. Humorous, with some memorable songs throughout.

3. Christmas Eve on Sesame Street: Big Bird wants to find out how Santa can get down all those little chimneys. A great example of a relic from the good old days of Sesame Street.

2. Frosty the Snowman: Some kids must help Frosty reach the North Pole before he melts away. Simply thirty minutes' worth of charm and heart that people of all ages can enjoy.

1. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: Can a reindeer who is ridiculed on account of his shiny nose become an unlikely hero? One of the definitive holiday classics that must be seen every year.
