Being a lover of writing, mostly poetry, I can appreciate the meaning behind the music of most artist songs. In all actuality, songs are poetry. They are just expressed in a different way than writing them down on paper.

1.

I've picked this song because of the love expressed in it between a daughter and her father, and the stages of life between them both. This was my father's song with his eldest daughter, who has passed on unfortunately, RIP, and now me having a child of my own, can appreciate his heartfelt tears when he hears this song today.
