My Top Ten News Years Resolutions for Barack Hussein Obama

He Might Go Down as a Good Leader If He Follows Some of This Advice

Jay Braun
When I first heard this assignment I was thinking of many ways to do it as there are a variety of celebrities that you could write it on. The most likely would be Tiger Woods to make a resolution that he needs to keep his thing in his pants. He also could realize there is nothing wrong with black women. I find many black women very nice looking. He might possibly have a racial identity crisis, but that is another article.

With all that said I figured the way to go was someone that is in the public eye but needs some help. If Barack Obama follows all of this advice he will no longer be competing with George W. Bush for one of the biggest mistakes America made in choosing a leader. Here are my ten incidents, ideas, and things that by handling differently in the future will make Obama a better person and not One Big A** Mistake America as the moniker goes. One word there is purposely censored.

Early in his reign there was an issue in which a black college professor named Henry Gates was arrested while himself and a driver trying to get into his home that he had lost the keys to or something and basically broke into his University owned home. The police responded to call of a break in and asked for Gates to identify himself. He then did, according to his own words, get disorderly and further started bringing the officers mother into it. The officer did warn him but Gates kept at it and got arrested by Sgt. James Crowley. Instead of waiting till all the facts were known Barack Obama took the professor's side and said they acted "stupidly". I could have dealt with him saying something like the police may have been hasty. In 2010 I think Obama should get his facts first before passing judgment on an issue with such racial overtones.

Another thing that I think will help him in the future is a bit of humility. I think that Barack Obama does not realize how lucky he was being elected. The country was royally ticked off at George W. Bush, the economy sucked and Barack Obama was talking about all kinds of freebies, and people did want change. I believe that George Bush lost the election for John McCain as much as Barack Obama won the election. I further believe that more people voted against Bush than they did for Obama. He needs to realize this and that humility will help him stop trying to be a dictator and it will also help him with several of these other resolutions contained in this article.

This next resolution is more for liberals in general, but it will defiantly help Obama. He needs to realize that if you give a person a fish they eat for that day and may keep coming back for more handouts. If you teach that same person to fish they will not only eat for a lifetime, but also have better self esteem because of doing it on their own. Many of Obama's policies will undue some of the good done by the welfare reforms that President Bill Clinton put into effect. Those made it so welfare was a hand up and not a way of life. This reminds me of a pretty good story that I heard. There was this guy over a couple's house that had a young daughter. The daughter said that when she grew up she wanted to be President and was going to be a democrat and help all of the poor people so they would not be poor. The man asked the young girl how would she do that and she replied "by giving them things like money to help them out". The man then told the girl she could help the poor now. She asked "how" he informed her that he would give her $20 to mow his lawn. The little girl was excited and thought that was a very good deal. He said she could then take that money and give it to one of the people who live under the bridge and drink beer all day and don't work. The young girl said "they can't work but don't want to. Why should I work and give my money to people who do not earn or deserve it". The family friend then told her "welcome to the republican party". Nothing more true has been said.

Now this next one really ticks me off and goes totally against his empty promises of bi-partisanship in how he uses bribes to get what he wants. I know all politicians do it, but he did say he wanted to "stop the game playing" during the campaign and many people voted for him because of that. Many will say that the entire deal making on healthcare is not his doing. I am sure it is with his sanctioning though. If he did not like something and told Harry Reid not to do it then it would not get done. He made the second Louisiana Purchase with Mary Landrieu ( D-LA) getting $300 million for her state by voting to allow debate on the healthcare bill which is really just a formality. This vote will probably cost her next election depending on how long of a memory people in Louisiana have. In all fairness Illinois and Louisiana are considered to have the most corrupt politicians in the country. Where is Obama from again? Then they did the same thing with Ben Nelson (D-NE). He is basically getting all the additional Medicaid spending that will be caused by healthcare bill paid by tax payers all over the nation. He is still a pretty good Democrat so he might not lose his job, but he is on this ice.

Another resolution is that Barack Obama needs to keep an eye on what is going on in the nation. He campaigned heavily in New Jersey for John Corzine. He even mentioned that Corzine helped draft the stimulus that is still being debated on the merits that just passed the senate by three disgrace Republicans. John Corzine was a Senator and also a Governor with extensive experience yet a relatively unknown Chris Christie defeated him in a state heavily carried by Obama. Independents jumped ship in large droves on Obama. He claims it is no big deal. I do think national issues were the main factor, but I do think that the issues New Jersey was having are the types that could happen with the country since Corzine and Obama have similar ideas. Obama was almost begging in the state for Corzine to get another term. Basically the people of New Jersey did not like the tax and spend policies and they booted it out of office. In Virginia Bob McDonnell easily won the Governor's office defeating Creigh Deeds. This is not as big of a deal as this state often is a good Christian state that does not elect liberals. The fact Obama won in 2008 in Virginia is largely because of people who moved there from up north. New Jersey should defiantly be a wake up call.

One of the best resolutions for Barack Hussein Obama would be to quit taking advantage of the virtual dictatorship that he has in Washington. In a lapse of sanity that many people already regret, he has both chambers of Congress and the White House. I think the Congress will be seeing some politicians booted out of office. This will remedy it. I understand it is tempting, but when you complain about one party politics then steam roll things through because many in your party are giving you a blank check rubber stamp. The ones who are not like moderate democrats are being bullied by their caucus to shape up. It is at their political expense and handing a "win" to Obama. News Sources are already referring to healthcare as a Pyrrhic victory. This means it is a win with large costs.

Immigration of the illegal type is one of the things that scare me most about this president and give away the country congress. I think they need to start listening to the public on illegal immigration. Several studies have shown that over 80% don't want amnesty for illegal aliens and also want tougher immigration laws. We need to handle our own problems before taking the rest of the worlds. I am fine with anyone who comes here legally. I do think anyone not here legally is a criminal and people who support them, including the president and former president are traitors to the country. The irony is that amnesty and allowing more unskilled workers into the country even legally will hurt blacks and other minorities more than whites. Talk about backfiring on Obama and the people who help put him in office. This again will be one bit of solace I could take if he passes it. At least I know morons will see how stupid they were for voting for him. Don't believe me? Ask an auto worker how high of a percentage were out of work compared the time of both President Bush's and Obama. You need to account for all the early retirement in part of that. I know many early retirees barely getting by.

Next on my list would finally be to produce his birth certificate not just a copy. I firmly believe that he was born in Hawaii, but by not producing the document he is just giving ammunition to the people who think he is not legally president. This also reminds me of a very good joke. How are God and Barack Obama the same? No one has seen either's birth certificate but we must have faith. How are God and Obama different? God does not think he is Obama.

A big resolution for Obama is to continue to campaign for every democrat that is up for election like he did in New Jersey and Virginia. I think this is his duty to do this. I especially would like to see him campaign for Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Ben Nelson of Nebraska. I think his coattails will insure we have good quality people in Congress just like it did with Virginia and New Jersey. Your Party needs you. Keep up the good work. There used to be Federalist and anti-Federalist. Now there will be pro Obama and Anti-Obama. If you want to stay in office you will either need to be in a very kiss tail liberal area or be Anti-Obama. I love him campaigning. It is a great present.

He also needs to realize that even though he is a joke of one that never should have gotten the job he is the President of the United States. He needs to quit apologizing and talking down about his country to other countries like he did to the Muslim world. It is true that we are not at war with Islam, but it also is fair to note that many of the countries that all the crap is in are Islamic countries. Most Americans are highly offended by this. I think he is the least patriotic president we have ever had.

As a bonus resolution he needs to listen to the American people. America is heavily against the crap that is being pulled with healthcare yet they are ramming it down America's throat as with illegal immigration that will come next and hurt America even worse than the free healthcare. Most of the legislation not only gives amnesty to criminals but also guts enforcement and the next to free healthcare gives more incentive to leeches to invade our country were they are not wanted, welcome, or needed. Thank God he is so obnoxious that he is even thumbing his nose at the radical communist (in my opinion) leaning group moveon.org that helped put him in office.
