My Top Ten New Year's Resolutions for Freelance Writing and Associated Content

When freelance writing one needs to keep goals in mind so we have something to work towards. I am going to make some free lance writing goals for Associated Content. My top 10 New Year's Resolutions for freelance writing on AC are very attainable. Even though my New Year's resolutions are attainable will they be sustainable? That question will only be answered as time goes on.

I had been writing monthly goals for my freelance writing. Each month I added some new thing or a writing place I wanted to get my work published. This listing of New Year's resolutions is much less defined than the monthly freelance writing goals that I would normally make.

I am going to list my top ten New Year's resolution writing goals backwards just like the top ten on the Late Show with David Letterman. There are certain goals that just about every author would like to reach but the importance of these goals will vary from writer to writer.

10. Work on my mystery book

9. Be an inspiration to other writers

8. Make more freelance writing friends

7. Write an ebook

6. Write more news, celebrity and crafting articles

5. Have a featured article on AC

4. Get a top 1,000 badge

3. Be at clout 10 on Associated Content

2. Have over 400 articles written on AC

1. Get 1 million page views

The main goal I want to keep in mind is to write more often. There were many writing opportunities lost because of this and that. Several times I lost out in writing because my children had days off for school and summer break. I have since realized that even though I am a mother first and my children are very important to me I still have the time to write at least one article.

At the very least I just need to remind my self to write something even if I don't finish anything at the time. Some new writer's get caught up in the will they like my work and other ability questions. Though I have gotten over most of that on my Associated Content writing there are other writing sites where I do have lack of self-esteem in my writing.

To sum up my New Year's Resolutions for freelance writing on Associated Content is to just keep writing. That is the way I got to where I am today and it seems to work ok. So I am going to keep with what I know.
