My choice for a romantic vacation weekend getaway would be the Sunset on Seneca Bed and Breakfast located in Schuyler county New York. I chose this destination because I would love to take my wife to a beautiful bed and breakfast, and from what I've seen, this is the most beautiful. It's located right on Seneca Lake about two miles from Watkins Glen, in New York's wine country region. It is right on a private beach in a Victorian style home. I think there could be no place better to take your lover for a nice romantic weekend getaway.

My second choice for an awesome weekend family getaway would have to be Tombstone Arizona. I have been there several times and it never gets old. Tombstone, located in Arizona's Cochise County, is the home of Boot Hill, and such historic legends as Wyatt Earp, and Doc Holiday, who were in the gun fight at the OK corral. Tombstone also makes a great getaway stop because when you are there it is like you've stepped into the past. There are historic restaurants, saloons, and even simulated gunfights. Most everyone who works there is dressed in authentic old western garb, making the experience that much more real. You can stay at one of the historic hotels, enjoy a western festival, go to the annual gem and mineral show, or just kick back and see a western music concert. My kids love the old west feel and particularly the gunfights. That is why, if you get the chance, I would recommend taking your children, young and old to Tombstone for your next family weekend vacation getaway.

My ultimate destination for this list would have to be the Grand Princess Resort in Cancun Mexico. Cancun is located on the east coast of Mexico. A beautiful and world renowned vacation destination, Cancun has just been adorned with the new Grand Princess Resort.
