My Voice

" You say I have no voice
Well can you hear it now?
If I bellow out loud
Can you feel the sound?

If the bells of triumph
Begin to ring
Will you give me credit
When I start to sing?

Or should I go deeper and deeper
To express myself
With a voice so strong
I'd give the impression of " HELP "

You claim my " SELF "
Was crowded by ignorance
But, you've known me for years
I thought you payed attention!

If I don't share
It's because you don't listen
If it seems I'm arrogant
It's because you don't appreciate compassion

If I'm different behind closed doors
It's because I'm healing my sores
If i show forgiveness
It's because God is who I adore

If I'm crying for days
It's because the happiness has drifted away
If I'm screaming for hours
It's because I feel the pain

If I'm singing a melody
It must be the right tune
If your getting all of this
Then you don't have to assume

So let me ask you again..
Can you hear my voice in the wind?

So let me repeat it again...
