1. Apply for work online: When there isn't any place to apply for a job outside the Internet, the only other option is to try your hand at working online. It means applying for freelance jobs at first just to get yourself built up as someone who can complete a job. Perhaps by doing this, it could lead to some more serious work in the near future.
2. Positive Outlook: Despite the fact we are in hard times, there is no need to constantly think about a negative outlook. It seems like an unreachable goal but it can be done. The key is to stay as positive as possible believing it can be accomplished.
3. Being very serious: This is no laughing matter and is something to think about. Trying to figure out what you want to do with yourself is never easy. As 2009 rolls closer, it is about trying to move to the next step and making sure it is the right move.
4. Obtaining Grants: Perhaps one of the parts that can be the most difficult could be obtaining a grant. The purpose of it would be to help pay for college so that the need for a loan would not even come into question. In fact, it'd be best if that weren't necessary because a debt can rise the more it is used. Getting as many grants as possible would be a benefit more so because of not having to pay it back in the first place.
5. Decent Car: It has never been about trying to have the fanciest car in the world or the latest brand model. It has been all about trying to go from point A to point B. Though gas prices are down for now, it would be best to get one that can be good on gas and affordable. What brand yet is a mystery. Getting a car to drive would be a good step and could help with travel to college.
All that is left is to simply work hard and make it happen. Unlike other Resolution's, this one however is going to be a year long one and at the end will find out what happens form there.
