How Convenient is That? Mycokerewards.Com Site is Down on Double Points Day!

My husband drinks coke on a regular daily basis. About a year ago he decided to start collecting and entering the points on the mycokerewards.com website. There you can enter codes from Coke multipacks and receive points to be used for sweepstakes and promotional items. I used to drink coke also but have had to ease up on the colas for health reasons. Thus I have found creative ways to add to his codes supply. Hubby is proud of his free Coke t-shirt received by redeeming coke points. He also received a couple nifty belt loop bottle carriers. They have a carabiner on one end to attach to a belt loop and a loop that can be slipped over a bottle cap on the other end. A hands free way of carrying a coke (or bottle of water) with you while on the go.

Is the site down completely? Has it crashed? Hubby says the site is loading slowly and is attributing it to heavy usage. Could not the people at Coke have predicted this and allowed a few more double points days instead of just one?

When hubby first tried logging on this evening the site had a maintenance message displayed, (Quote: "mycokerewards is undergoing scheduled maintenance at this time. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Please come back soon! "End quote.) This same message is written in Spanish underneath. After clicking on refresh it is attempting to load the main website page but it seems to be taking forever. (The screen now seems frozen.) Hubby is also playing a hand or two (or more) of poker at a popular online poker site. Will he still continue his quest to log on to www.mycokerewards.com during the double points day? Or will his poker game win out? Will he continue to save and enter codes after this disappointment? This is yet to be seen....

Meanwhile, if you have started collecting and/or have thought of collecting mycokerewards codes here are a few hints on how to get more coke rewards codes:
1. Ask your family and friends to save the points for you.
2. If you volunteer at a summer camp that stocks coke products remove the codes before throwing away the cartons.
3. Go online to a favorite chat site and request coke reward codes be sent to you.
4. Ask your co-workers to save coke bottle caps and coke codes from fridge packs for you.
5. If you volunteer at a Fourth of July event tear the coke codes from the cartons before discarding them.

Good luck to all you mycokerewards.com coke rewards code savers trying to log on to www.mycokerewards.com to enter your codes for your double points. (What a tongue twister.) Hubby is still trying and the site is still under maintenance. Was this a great marketing scheme by Coke to draw attention to the mycokerewards.com site? I wonder......

I missed the double rewards day. I love MyCokeRewards.com. My man drinks Coke, and so far I have received 2 Nascar hats, half a dozen magazine subscriptions (good ones), and most recently two coupons for free 12 packs of Coke.
