MyLikes is a new advertising platform that connects advertisers and Twitter users. Twitter users are influencers and MyLikes bases pay on what the users influence on Twitter is worth. Opportunities are pay-per-click and cash out limit is low. All MyLikes advertising links are non-spam and the service pays well. I was able to earn $6 with two paid tweet links in less than 48 hours. Are you interested in MyLikes and earning money with Twitter? Here are few more things you should know.

What makes a Twitter user influential on MyLikes?

MyLikes uses an algorithm to calculate influence and worth of a Twitter account. This means that they take into consideration the number of followers, how many replies and re-tweets an account gets as well as how many times posted links receive clicks. An influential Twitter user is able to engage their audience with links. Followers click on links and advertisers receive traffic or business.

How much is your Twitter influence worth?

When I signed up with MyLikes, my statistics were available on the right side of MyLikes almost immediately. The service told me how many Twitter followers I had and how much to expect to be paid per link click. It also gave me an estimate of how much I will be earning per tweet, which is currently at $3.19.

I particularly like that MyLikes raises per-click earnings based on follower responses. My estimated income will go up if my Twitter followers were to click on every link I post.

How does MyLikes really work?

At first, I lost my way around MyLikes. At sign-up, the system asked me to provide categories and interests for my account. On the main page, I saw lists of promoted MyLikes. There was another section for campaigns, which appeared to be different from the promoted list of links. It took me some time to figure out campaign sign ups and links, but after the initial confusion, I was good to start with paid tweets.

Campaigns that match your interests list at the top of the main MyLikes page. Unlike other advertising platforms, you have to signup for a paid opportunity. Click on a campaign listing and click on the "Like This" button.

There are several ways to post with MyLikes. I am discussing Twitter in this article review, but you can use Blogger or a WordPress blog for what is a sponsored blog post. Click on the "Post to Twitter" link to setup your new tweet campaign.

The system asks you to enter text for the tweet. Make this text engaging for your audience. Relate it to the product. Do not say "Awesome product. Click!" because that will not get you paid clicks. Be honest and say something that will get people interested in the campaign. You can change this text next time you go to tweet the campaign.

The message publishes instantly once the send button is pushed. Clicks will update in the MyLikes dashboard. You will see money made at the top of the page; it will be marked as Earnings.

I am particularly interested in this advertisement platform because MyLikes pays every Friday. Sponsored Tweets requires a minimum of $50 before a user can cash out. MyLikes requires only a minimum balance of $2. As soon as you earn $2, your account is eligible for payout on the upcoming Friday. Payments are processed through Paypal.

Can MyLikes spam my Twitter account?

MyLikes is set up for one tweet per day. A user picks a campaign they wish to promote. They select to send a link to Twitter and change their tweet text if desired. A tweet is published on Twitter. Earnings are tallied and displayed in 48 hours. There is no way for MyLikes to spam your Twitter account with several tweets or campaigns in a single day. The system does not overwhelm your followers by advertisements. This method of advertising engages followers in link clicking, instead of being turning them away.

What about a required ad disclosure?

MyLikes provides an advertisement disclosure with every tweet published. You cannot alter or remove an ad disclosure. Your followers will have full transparency and know that a paid advertisement posts. I really appreciate this feature of MyLikes. I like being honest with my Twitter followers. I also appreciate it when my followers disclose advertisements. This practice makes Twitter a better place.

Overall, MyLikes is a promising Twitter advertising platform. I am not impressed with their campaign setup as it is confusing to find your way around at first. I love the fact that MyLikes does not force or choose our paid opportunities. We pick and customize campaigns to our liking. No tweet is sent automatically or without my knowledge. I do like disclosures and one paid tweet per day. The pay per click is fair and their cash out is low enough for everyone to earn honest money tweeting. I look forward to trying out their sponsored blog posts in the future. MyLikes appears to be an honest and good way to make money with Twitter. I would certainly recommend the service to my Twitter followers.

I joined mylikes a few months back. I had some success for a few weeks earning a small amount of money. But for some reason, my account was frozen in August without a reasonable explanation. I can not access my account and there is no way to contact customer service.

Are you still on the site? is it still in existence?

I will have to get more active in Twitter again before I try this but it sounds like fun and a good way to earn a little extra money.
