You can enjoy the beach, shopping, golf, mini golf, and visit area attractions just to name a few ! Some of the popular attractions are Ripley's Haunted Adventure. This is a scary tour of the old Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company. The Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company had been run by two men since 1891 and was built on an old cave called The Sink, where many people who entered, never returned. When the two men suddenly disappeared along with strange things happening in town, they blamed it on the fact that the building was built over the cave. Ripley Entertainment now owns the property had gives tours of the building.
Ripley's Believe It or Not is an exhibit that is filled with strange and odd exhibits. From illusions, to clever animation. All the exhibits are actual, original and real one of a kind exhibits. A must see !
NasCar Speed Park is tons of fun for everyone. They have tracks for all ages, state-of- the-art Arcade and interactive games, the hottest driver merchandise, kiddie rides, mini golf, bumper boats, a snack bar just to name a few ! My 3 boys loved it. Not to mention Daddy !
Barefoot Landing is a great place to go. They have over 100 stores and restaurants. It's gorgeous. We had one of the best pizza's I ever ate at the Ultimate California Pizza restaurant. I will most definitely eat there on my next trip to Myrtle Beach !
Shopping is fantastic. There is a wonderful Tanger Outlet that has over 100 stores. I stopped by the Coach Outlet and Ann Taylor. I could spend all day there. The prices are awesome !
There are many hotels and accommodations for every budget. You can rent a town home/condo style, or stay at a luxury Hotel. Either way, there is tons of fun to be had in Myrtle Beach. I can't wait to plan our next trip.
If you like Italian Food, I ate a dinner at Luigi's Trattoria that was simply amazing ! Lobster stuffed ravioli that I am still dreaming about ! It was kid friendly, so we were able to take our children, yet it still felt like a 'date' because of the atmosphere. Worth every single penny. I will eat there again as well.
There is so much to do in Myrtle Beach, that you will not regret planning a visit. Great food, great beaches, great shopping and great golf. You just can't go wrong by planning a weekend getaway to Myrtle Beach.
