Myspace Layouts and Tips

The greatest tip I could give about Myspace layouts would be to use them, and use them wisely! But you have to be careful, because although there are many sites who offer you a vast variety of different layouts to choose from, there are some sites who are prone to have spammers!

I know when I first started my account with Myspace, the network offered you the advantage to use sites in which they trust. You can then begin setting up the look and feel of your account while starting it up, through these trusted sites. I've found that many layouts work very well for your image, and if chosen properly, your profile will attract many new visitors and friends.

It's best to get a layout which offers you not only space to apply even more attractions to your profile, but it's also best to add music and plenty of pictures to your profile; Maybe a game or two and videos won't hurt either.

The first layout I had, was full of blocked borders, such as-they had these borders around the sections. You can customize that; And make all sorts of changes and custom designs to your layout. Once you select and copy the embedded code, paste it into a section for your edited profile section; and once it's been pasted, you can make changes to it. Say for instance, if you're like me, and don't like my sections sectioned off by borders or lines, blocked centers, you can delete the borders, and add extra color to your text. Once you get the hang of it, you'll be changing your layout almost everyday!...It gets almost addictive.

Try to choose layouts that represent you, and what you would like people to know about you; If you like sports, there are a lot of choices you can make, and if you don't like them, change them. But first and foremost, you have to delete the old layout code before you enter another one! This is very important, because if you don't you'll end up with a mixture of the both, or either none at all!

Another good point is that you have to be careful of the content that you have on your profile as well! Myspace does not allow nudity, and pornographic images...although, I've seen my share of them, and believe me, your account will be deleted for such graphics!

Make your layout something personal and different! Add different, and genuine layouts, but also spice it up with different extended network banners, and contact tables, if you like. You don't have to necessarily use those that are provided with the full layout you choose. You can switch things up a bit, and give your profile a very personal touch!

Also consider applying your own personal photos as backgrounds as well. Many of the photo sites such as Yahoo!, Flckr, Slide.com, and a host of others, allow you the embedded code for profiles and other websites. It's a great web of service providers and sites to assist you in having the greatest site!

But be on constant reminder to check your codes and layout sites' codes as well, because they are updated and running active at all times; So, if they get any new updates, or even spammers and hackers, so does your computer. Being cautious is only a positive key to making sure your computer doesn't get a virus. Check the embedded codes and HTML for any virus links. I'm sure that if you run an anti-virus program through your system, it will help protect your computer for the most part, but always check just to be sure. You just never now sometimes, how some hackers and spammers creep through the smallest loophole.

Have fun with your layout. It's a good form of communication, especially when you apply fun games and special glitter graphics, surveys, quizzes, and interactive generators like voice comments. These offer your visitors participation on your profile!.. And it gives them a personal view of what type of person you truly are, and what types of things you enjoy; While also, giving them a sense of what generates you, drives you, and maybe even some of your deepest desires! It's an enormous, fun experience for interaction. A tool to be deemed most valuable, if approached and moderated with a positive intent.
