Myspace is taking over the world. I had a page a few years ago and was quick to realize that it could be nothing but trouble for some people. On the other hand it can transform regular people to superstars and help aspiring artists get their break. I see more and more people have pages with music and videos they can post. I also see alot of people getting their relationships ruined over the jealousy of their partners. People have dedicated their lives to managing their pages such as Tila Tequila, who has made her break with music, modeling, and reality shows. I also know of a person who was arrested for stealing somebodies t-mobile sidekick. How does this relate? Well, he was caught because once he stole it he tried to access his myspace.com account. T-mobile looked up the history and myspace identified the crook. President canidates now have pages and it is working in their favor because it helps today's world identify with the people who are going to be running this country so it gives them a sense of connection. Myspace is a place where people can connect or in some cases get disconnected. It's your choice.

Post a CommentThanks Unknown I kind of understand what you mean. This world of social networking is a long lasting event. Your disconnected and connected analogy is interesting and this T-mobile thing is yet another extension of this, that is the phone memory and the social memory are somehow interlinked. I just noticed you used the word somebodies is this that the phone or the social space becomes part of the body? Finally if it's presidents you seek I wish you well in finding them.
