I decided to give ProfileSnitch a try after I read that they won't ever ask you for your MySpace account password. By now you should know that giving your MySpace password to a third-party website is always a big no-no. That is unless you actually want random spam comments sent to all your friends or even worse, to lose complete control and access to your MySpace account.
ProfileSnitch is a relatively easy MySpace tracker to use. Just go to http://profilesnitch.com to sign up. You'll be asked for your email address and MySpace ID. Don't worry - your MySpace ID is just the long number at the end of your MySpace URL.
If you're not sure how to find your MySpace ID, follow these steps:
Go to your MySpace profile and hover your mouse over your display pic. The end of your URL will read something like "friendID=9999999". The number following the = sign is your MySpace ID.
The next thing ProfileSnitch will ask for is for you to create a password. Remember, this is a separate password from your MySpace password. ProfileSnitch will never ask your for your MySpace password.
After you've completed registration you need to grab the MySpace tracker code and add it to your MySpace profile. You can find your tracker code by clicking on "MySpace Tracker Code" located on the lefthand menu bar.
Copy the MySpace tracker code and paste it into the "About Me" section of your MySpace profile. This will install a small, non-obtrusive ProfileSnitch graphic in the top left-hand side of your MySpace profile. The MySpace tracker code will start working automatically - there's nothing more for you to do.
Now if you want to see who has viewed your MySpace profile all you have to do is sign into your ProfileSnitch account and view your stats.
The stats are pretty basic in the free version. You'll be able to see last visit, location, visits today and month visits... and that's about it. To be able to get see more users, ProfileSnitch encourages you to get your friends to sign up for the MySpace tracker as well.
You can also opt for Premium Membership which includes all these benefits:
Be completely invisible! Your visitors can't see you tracking them.
Other ProfileSnitch members can't see you visiting them!
Disable all ads on Profilesnitch.
40% off all future VIP add pass purchases
Enhanced tracking and reporting features!
In addition to that you'll have access to more enhanced tracking tools. This means you'll be able to see exact dates/times of each visit, plus a handy map that will show you where your views are coming from.
Premium Members won't have the ProfileSnitch badge on their page, so your visitors won't know that they're being tracked. Premium Membership also allows you to be completely invisible to other users so they will never know if you have visited their MySpace profile.
You can sign up for Premium Membership for $3.99 a month or pay a one-time fee of $29.
Happy MySpace tracking!

Post a CommentIt doesn't track most cell phone visitors which is why you get hits but they don't show up on the tracker. Different technology.
i cant even create an account. it says my ip doesnt exist.
Profile Snitch is a JOKE!!!! All is gives is IP address and random location of where the person is. My own location was not even correct! I had this for like 6 months and only 1 person was ever identified! WASTE OF TIME & EFFORT!!!
it works, but it's limited. Rarely does it actually ID who visits your page. It provides an IP address that isn't trackable to a specific person. Anyone that pays the $29 to use Profilesnitch will also be invisible/not listed for you. Those 2 factors effectively make Profilesnitch mostly ineffective. With some guessing and timing, you may be able to determine who some hits are.
doesn't work
Mytrackerspace.com is free, invisible, and gives you the IP address. no tracker will give you the profile of the person.
how about the ip address that its say it gives to u how do u get that
yes it does work but it has limits..I have stats that tie up with myspace hits, the problem i have is i think it only tracks other myspace users..if someone has ur url it doesnt track them..still working on all of this..
Oh! This profile tracker does work! Rather well! With a bit of patience I have been able to determine the identity of a couple of regular visitors to my page. I have the free version which only ids the IP. Even so this took is helpful if you have "suspect" visitors!
Ohhh does it work??? Yes it does!!! that's how I find out that my ex-boyfriend was visiting my page like 50 times a week....too bad I told him, now he add it to his page too and I can't spy on him cause he is gonna know LOL
I'm not a pay post and I have Profilesnitch on my page. It DOES work however as the article states the free version only tells you where your hits are coming from not WHO they are coming from. I've learned to figure out some of the people that hit my page by their locations and when they leave messages. I've NEVER had any problems with Profilesnitch stealing my password or anything like that. Again I am not a paid post I am a real person.
