You work in the factory to get coins to purchase different things around the community to dress up your apartment and avatar. As with all, the other myspace games your personal success on YoVille depends on the others you bring into the game.
The more players you bring into YoVille the higher you are paid for your factory job; I currently hold a vice president's position, which is cool. There is not much really to do to get the cash for the job, a few simply clicks to move your avatar from your apartment to the factory and then inside the door is all it takes.
There is a neat little furniture shop where you can purchase neat little things for your apartment, such as furniture, plants, stands and even carpeting or windows. In YoVille, you can visit the coffee shop or the dinner to get food for energy to complete different tasks within the game, and you can get drunk at the club. Getting drunk or even taking a drink at the bar will make your screen appear fuzzy, as people tend to get when they are drunk. This addition to Yo Ville on myspace may be enough to dissuade youngsters from drinking in real life for a bit longer.
This game even teaches lessons about gambling as players of YoVille can play the slots machines, I have played a few times and lost on every instance. Exercise is another valuable lesson to teach kids and in the game players can visit the gym as often as they feel the need to do so.
The fashion store has all the trendy hip fashions that a citizen of myspace YoVille could ever want and then some. Of course, as in the game of life, you need money to purchase anything and I think this is the one myspace game that parents should encourage children to play because of the lessons, which can be learned inside the game. This game teaches kids about money, exercise and even gives them a visual of what happens when you drink. In the diner, you can purchase many things but kids will see that the fruits and veggies give them more energy to play the game, even thought the pizza and other kid foods are cheaper.
