Mysterious Contrail Leads to Many Questions and Rumors

Missle? Airplane? UFO?

Jennifer Bove
Funny, the other day I didn't have access to my computer but wanted to do an article on the mysterious "missle contrail". I even wrote it up on paper after reading the story. Then I forgot, a day late and a dollar short perhaps, but here it is.. Very different story today than what I read the other day. Lets compare notes.

The Story From Delaware County Times on November 10Th, 2010 about the "Missle"

It strikes me as odd the fact that although I read it in print, I cannot find the exact article from the Delaware County Times today. I tried archives, searching the exact title in google, but all that comes up is other newspaper articles about it with the same title. I will tell you this, the following information's source was the hard copy of the November 10Th, 2010 edition of the Daily Times. page seventeen.

The Information Given on November 10Th, 2010 About the "Missle" in California

What appeared to be a vapor trail was caught on tape by a CBS news helicopter (video below). The vapor trail resembles what would be seen during a missle launch. At the time of that article, the Pentagon claimed they had no information on this sighting.

The Pentagon at that time stating it had no knowledge of any missle launches in California. Yet Norad made a statement saying that there was no hostile aircraft and it was not the contrail of a foreign missle. They also stated they had no further information on just what it was. So how can everybody claim they had no knowledge of it and that it was not anything bad or a missle in the same breath? I can't really tell you that answer.

In this same article, an "expert witness" stated it was merely the trail from an airplane, confused by people because of the sun, etc. So if that's all it was, why couldn't the Pentagon or NORAD figure this out? Sounds pretty fishy to me.

The Information Given on November 13Th, 2010 About the "Missle" in California

Ok, here's where I run into a problem. Obviously plenty of people are searching for information on this mysterious "missle" sighting in California as its in the hot searches. So where's my problem? I wanted to get my facts from actual newspaper articles and reliable sources. Well there's plenty of blogs-like bloggers gone wild out there-but no real sources. So I figured CBS news would be a good place to start. Well guess what? The only story on it was the original ones dated November 9Th and 10Th. This makes it even stranger. You'd think the news would be hopping all over this. That is unless they were told not to....

I have no answers for you on this, I wish I did. I can't seem to find a reliable source to quote to update this story for you.
