It's unknown exactly what this Panama creature or monster was or where it originated. Could it have been born in the cave and lived there for a long time? Or did it come from under water, or even another galaxy? Some have postulated it could be a sloth or genetically defected species of another animal. Judging by the strange photographs of it here on the Telemtro website, its appearance is hairless and slimy, almost like the character Gollum from the popular Lord of the Rings movies. It's quite possible it emerged from the cave looking for its ring, but the hobbit Frodo supposedly killed Gollum a long time ago. Some people even believe the Panama creature found dead might really be a freakish monster or alien, inhabiting the cave where it was seen. Usually aliens are considered an advanced race, but there is always the possibility for a slow species or one that hit its head. It hasn't been reported yet if scientists have done any sort of medical tests to figure out exactly what this Montauk monster is. Some may even feel sorry that the creature met its untimely demise at the hands of scared kids. Then again, what would you do if you saw an never-seen-before creature come crawling out of a cave towards you?
Regardless, the mystery continues until someone can prove just what this particular species of animal or creature is. It almost reaks of a story you'd read on a trashy news paper that reports Elvis is still alive, or that aliens are living in the town next door. It's possibly all staged by some kids or others, but these are the fun unsolved mysteries that keep us mesmerized even when hoaxes are set in motion. For now RIP to the Mystery creature found dead in Panama, and let the speculation continue...
Feel free to weigh in below with your comments on this mystery and if you feel sorry for the creature, or think the kids acted in their best interests.

Post a Commentthey should be in jail for killing this thing...
I agree with Savvy, Why did they have to kill it? If it's a sloth it wouldn't move fast enough to scare anybody, Bloodthirsty bunch of idiots, I'd like to see a Clan of Sloths attack them with sticks.
I wouldnt have killed it. I wouldve ran away, its a shame that it died.
Most definitely a sloth. Don't know why it's hairless, but sloths are frequently seen as roadkill in Panama. This has the face shape and body shape of a sloth. The giveaway is the long arms with long sloth claws on the ends - if you see the extended photos. The story has been highly exagerrated. The local people recognized it immediately as a sloth.
