Now, that's an animal hospital!
In Farmington, New Mexico, an injured dog limped into the hospital emergency room. People could see that the German Shepherd mix was calm and had a bloody nose and a puncture would in its leg. The dog was smart enough to go to the hospital when it got hurt! Animal control was called and the dog was claimed by its owner at the animal shelter.
Worn tires for electronics?
It's a loss unless you are trying to get rid of your electronics. A thief in Pennsylvania must have been trying to hide his criminal activities. He took the time to replace the new tires he stole with worn tires. The thief also stole a stereo and GPS from the car. Using worn tires on the car did not help hide that the things had been stolen.
Man on man action?
It would be man on man action, but it wasn't wanted! A man in Pittsburgh broke into another man's home and jumped into bed with him. The home owner was shocked when he felt a cold body and asked if it was a woman that had keys to his house. A deep voice answered that it wasn't, but he was looking for a warm place after seeing a rap concert.
Yet another overdue library book.
Overdue library books are common, but not this one! The copy of "Quartermass and the Pit" by Nigel Kneale was returned to a London library 65 years after it was due! It came through the mail. The principal assistant at the library said she would love to know the story and no fines will be charged because library records do not go back that far. It's too bad no money came for the library, though, like the man who returned his school library book years later and paid what the fee would have been.
Flying furniture caused by ban on getting alcohol.
A man in Thibodeaux, Louisiana starting throwing furniture and a beer bottle at a 29 year old woman when she would not give him the car keys so he could go buy more beer. This started after the two got into an argument and the man had been drinking. (Yes, I do live in the state of Louisiana. Yes, some people are really crazy like this.)

Heck, I'm permanently mystified these days with all that is taking place.
The dog story is definitely a new favorite.
Nice work! :-)
Ha, the one about the library book reminds me of that episode of Seinfeld....
love the one about the dog. Animals can be smarter than humans at times!
