Mythbusters is one of Discovery Channel's hit shows, with strong ratings in the male demographic. The ever curious co-hosts and their team attempt to answer odd, but thought provoking, questions. The Mythbusters have been known to duct tape a car in the air to see if it holds, throw a styrofoam cup out of a moving car to see if it can be a deadly weapon and to see if a car can be made bulletproof with phone books. The Mythbusters might be seen riding a water slide, being duct taped the ceiling or diving underwater. Viewers can go along for the ride from the safely of their living rooms.

Quirky an inventive, the innovative show fosters a spirit of curiosity and experimentation. The Mythbusters team explores popular myths, urban myths and legends with an inquisitive spirit of scientific exploration.

The series has captured the attention of viewers, including geeks, hipsters and science lovers. The show is fun to watch, as well as educational, with its spirit of thinking outside of the box.

Mythbusters is an entertaining and thought provoking program. Watching Mythbusters can be a workout for the brain, with the opportunity to explore new and different horizons. This show can be enjoyed with friends and family and can foster intelligent conversation.

With the new contract signed by Jamie Hyneman and Adam Savage, the Mythbusters spirit will be expanded into video games and a live show that will tour the country. Hyneman and Savage will create and produce a branded web along with BermanBraun.

Mythbusters is currently the longest running series on Discovery Channel. The series airs on Wednesday nights at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
