Mister Salty Milk Chocolate Pretzels by Nabisco are individual packages of a salty sweet snack, perfect for tucking into school lunch boxes. Each box contains six individual packets of chocolate covered pretzels, net wt .78oz each. The pretzels are small and round and while I thought the amount in each package wasn't large enough for an adult snack, they are a good size for kids, or those who are following a diet that will allow them to splurge on a mere 100 calories.
Each 100 calorie single-serving package of Nabisco Milk Chocolate Covered Pretzels contains 30 calories from fat, with a total of 3.5 fat grams, 2g of saturated fat and no trans fats. The pretzels have 0mg of cholesterol, but rank high in sodium with 160mg. 16g of carbs will keep this tasty snack off the list of those following a low-carb diet regimen. These chocolate covered pretzels contain no high fructose corn syrup.
My local WalMart store had the box containing six single-serving packages on sale for $2.00 as a back-to-school special. I didn't think the price was a great bargain, but neither was it much more expensive than other snacks of similar size. I didn't notice the regular price listed.
I've had other chocolate covered pretzels and thought Nabisco's 100 cal snacks ranked as high as any of them. The pretzels were smaller than other traditional knot pretzels, but the amount of chocolate in relation to the size of the pretzel was adequate to allow the flavor of both to come through. I wasn't satisfied with one package, but found that even with indulging in two packages, the individual packages were a better choice than opening a large bag of another brand and eating far more than 200 calories worth.
Nabisco has changed the packaging of this product and claims the box is 20% smaller and made of 100% recycled paperboard with a minimum of 35% post-consumer content. The pretzels were packed fairly tight in the individual serving packages, but if they were going for eco-friendly, I thought the size of the box could have been reduced even more.
Some days you may crave a sweet snack, and others, salty. In my opinion, Nabisco 100 Cal Mister Salty Milk Chocolate Pretzels has them both covered nicely.

Great article- I love these =) The Lorna Doone cookies and the cheese nips are fantastic too!
great review. I like chocolate pretzels with coffee.
One of my mom's very favorite treats (other than pig's ear pastries) was chocolate-covered pretzels. I think we used to get them at Wanamaker's in Philadelphia. They were top-notch, and made from your everyday pretzels or something much like them. Delicious. Although I still like them, I haven't found a good brand - nothing like they were. Thanks for reminding me maybe it's time to try again.
Good review!
