Nabisco New Reduced Fat Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins

Ann-Marie Walker
Nabisco has New Reduced Fat Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins. Since I am a huge garlic fan I decided to give them a try. I could hardly wait to get home and try them. I am always looking for new snacks that I can munch on while I am on the computer, or something that is great for my afternoon snack. I also liked the idea that they have 30% less fat than Original Wheat Thins.

Texture and Appearance

Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins have the same square shape and crunch as the Original Wheat Thins. Looking at them you can see all the spices sprinkled on them.

Flavor and Aroma

The minute you open the box you can immediately smell garlic. The taste is about as strong as their aroma. The Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins pack a punch of garlic with every bite. Underneath the flavor of garlic you can taste onion too. The fragrance and flavor of these little crackers are bursting with a powerful punch.

Serving Size

The recommended serving size is 16 crackers. I found this to be a good amount for a single serving. They have a strong flavor so I could not imagine myself snacking on much more than that at a time.

Nutritional Information per Serving

Overall Review

I loved the flavor of the Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins. I did find the taste of the garlic and onions strong, but I prefer snacks with a bold strong flavor. If your not one who likes a snack with a big bite of flavor, such as garlic and onions, you probably will not like Nabisco's Roasted Garlic and Herb Wheat Thins. Another aspect I liked about them was that they have 30% less fat than the Original Wheat Thins. They are covered with powder and spices, so you might find yourself licking your fingers, or needing a paper towel.
