Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane), Tamara Braun (Taylor Walker) and Bren Foster (Quinn Alamain) Dumped from Days of Our Lives!

In a major cast restructure that according to Ken Corday will see Days of our Lives focus its storylines on a tight ensemble cast of 15 long-time fan favorite characters, rather than the current troop of 30, the news of Days of our Lives comings and goings continue to come thick and fast.

The latest "goings" to add to the list already consisting of Crystal Chappell (Carly Manning) and Louise Sorel (Vivian Alamain) are Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) and newcomer Bren Foster (Quinn Alamain).

As speculated here when Louise Sorel announced that her contract with Days of our Lives would not be picked up when it expired, newcomer Quinn (Australian Bren Foster), who was recently revealed to be Vivian's son , with no other connection than Vivian (Louise Sorel) to Salem has been admitted to the already crowded departure lounge at Days of our Lives.

Joining Bren Foster is his onscreen love interest, Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) who first appeared on Days of our Lives in 1999, as part of the popular Salem High gang consisting of Shawn Brady, Belle Black, Mimi Lockhart and Philip Kiriakis.

Nadia's character, Chloe's life has spiraled out of control since it was revealed that her son Parker was actually fathered by Philip Kiriakis rather than her husband Daniel Jonas (they weren't married at the time Chloe slept with Philip). Chloe, suffering post natal depression jumped off the pier into the river in a bid to kill herself, and is currently being blackmailed into prostitution by Quinn, a storyline not popular with fans of the opera diva.

There is no news as to how Quinn and Chloe will be written out of Days of our Lives or whether they will exit together, though if Chloe has to leave, a happy ending for Chloe with Parker and Philip in Chicago would likely get a fan vote.

Wrapping up this week's departures, is Tamara Braun, who ironically, replaced Natalia Livingston in the role of Taylor Walker at the end of April. Tamara replaced Natalia as Taylor when Days of our Lives wanted to take Taylor in a new direction. Natalia Livingston's interpretation of Taylor, manipulative Nicole's younger sister was sweet and naive, consistent with the characters previous appearance in Salem.

Tamara Braun gave Taylor a little more gumption which was needed if she was to take on Nicole in a fight for EJ, with whom Taylor consummated her relationship recently. Of course, Braun's departure makes EJ and Taylors love at first sight relationship moot.

With Days of our Lives taping a couple of months ahead of airdate, Tamara Braun (Taylor Walker), Nadia Bjorlin (Chloe Lane) and Bren Foster (Quinn Alamain) will likely be seen on our screens until August.
