Naked Lady Gaga in "Telephone" Video Final Hermaphrodite Proof

It has been a source of speculation and debate for quite some time that Lady Gaga might be a hermaphrodite, an individual that possesses both the genitalia of a man and a woman. Several videos and pictures have proliferated on the world wide web in efforts to "prove" that Lady Gaga is actually a man or hermaphrodite. Apparently grown bored with argument, Lady Gaga's newest video venture, "Telephone," addresses the matter front and center -- and naked.

She leaps onto the bars of a prison cell she's just been thrown in, totally naked and exposed. One of the guards tells another that there is proof that Lady Gaga doesn't have a penis. Still, to make the video suitable for viewing, Lady Gaga's genitals are blurred out. The risque nine-minute video that co-stars Beyonce is loaded with objectionable (for some) material (naked people, mass murder, lesbian kissing).

To add controversial spice, "Telephone" was all done in front of Lady Gaga's 17-year-old sister, Natali. In fact, according to Buzzfeed, Natali plays a part in the video.

The scandal. The controversy. The horror...

But does "Telephone" settle the tasteless rumor, the endless debate, the question of Lady Gaga's physical endowments (or lack thereof)? Not necessarily. There will always be those who point to the fact that Lady Gaga's nether region is a bit blurry. And when (if) seen unblurred, the true conspiracy theorist will opt for photoshopping or airbrushing, computer alterations that make the pop singer look no different than the next girl.

One cannot convince someone not willing to have their mindset altered.

Take, for instance, the Huffington Post article, with pictures, that claimed that the outfit Lady Gaga wore at the Grammy Awards proved that she wasn't a hermaphrodite. Although somewhat revealing, those pictures no more proved she was not a hermaphrodite than they did otherwise. The same can be said of all the pictures and videos.

So what it comes down to is that there exists a no-win situation for Lady Gaga in all this -- except that she is accorded even more publicity because of it. No matter what she does, there will be those who believe she is secretly a cross-dressing man, a transgendered person, or an hermaphrodite with enough money to cover up her secret (?). But, then, as the saying goes, all publicity is good publicity.
