Naked Pictures of Rihanna Supposedly Leaked; But is it Really Her?

Rihanna's music label is not happy about a group of naked pictures that have been leaked on the web that websites like perezhilton.com have linked up to on their sites. Island Def Jam Music Group is sending letters to websites where the photos are published demanding that they be taken down, although the label has issued no statement as to whether or not the woman in these pictures is actually Rihanna.

In the pictures that actually show nudity, you cannot see the face of the woman pictured. However, a few photos of Rihanna's face are included in the mix as a way of trying to prove that it is her. Perez Hilton states on his website that he believes Chris Brown is responsible for the naked pictures being leaked on the web.

As if poor Rihanna needs any more drama! First she was the victim of an assault by her own equally-famous boyfriend, Chris Brown; ugly rumors about why he assaulted her started circulating (with many people blaming Rihanna for the attack); a photo of her face after the assault taken by police was leaked on the internet; rumors about Rihanna and Chris Brown staying together created a media firestorm; and now this?

This must be very difficult for Rihanna, who has recently started making more public appearances and has been getting a lot of attention for her new bold fashion choices. But now it seems that Rihanna may have to go into hiding once again to avoid being barraged with questions about the naked pictures. At least she has one good thing going for her; since the photos are set up the way they are, she can simply deny that it's her in them.

And what about the allegations that Chris Brown leaked these photos? Well, I would hope that he wouldn't be that stupid, being in the position he is now. He might be upset enough at the two of them not being together and all of the sympathy Rihanna is getting to do such a thing, but I really doubt it. It's going to take him a long time to rebuild his image, and he wouldn't want to have to deal with being further ostracized for releasing personal pictures of Rihanna on the web.

So if these pictures aren't of Rihanna, then where did they come from? Anyone could have taken these pictures and posted them alongside pictures of Rihanna's face. But if they are actually pictures of her, it doesn't necessarily mean Chris Brown was in possession of them; they could be the result of hacking or have come from a different ex-lover.

After all she's been through so far, hopefully Rihanna can pull through this latest scandal. And even if it is her in the photos, I think her reputation will be fine; this isn't the first time a celebrity has been caught in a scandal involving naked pictures and recovered, after all. Rihanna has definitely proved that she's tough, and eventually she'll be able to put this ordeal behind her.
