So the first article names just wasn't what you were looking for or you just wanted to see what the second half was all about? Well here we are with another variety of great names from the Bible. Perhaps these men of God have inspired you in some way or another. Maybe you just like the name and it's meaning. The reasons are all up to you and your honey. Have a look at these names that are inspired by men of God, who have written a Book of the Bible.

Micah - This is a Hebrew name and Micha of the Bible was a grandson of Jonathon as well as a prophet of the Old Testament.

Nehemiah - This name means comforted by God. Nehemiah was a Jewish officer under the King of Persia. This man was responsible for many religious reforms, as well as reconstructing the city of Jerusalem.

Peter - This name means rock. I remember that Peter preached a sermon and the Lord's were "upon this rock I will build my Church". It's just awesome how Peter preached the way of salvation in the Book of Acts chapter 2. he told us what to do to be saved. How neat that his name means rock. Jesus is the Rock of Ages. Peter was one of the 12 Apostles appointed by Christ and the one who obtained the keys to the Kingdom. He is the writer of two epistles.

Philemon - This name means lovely and friendly. This is a Greek name. Philemon was a Christian of Colesse.

Samuel - This Hebrew name means God hears. Samuel was a disciple and successor of the priest Eli. He was also a prophet of Israel. He also authored four books of the Bible.

Titus - This is a Greek name and means honorable. He was converted to Christianity and accompanied Paul in his many missionary journeys.

Solomon - Solomon was the son of David and Bathsheba. Although he was conceived as a result of adultery, he became a man of God and ruled Israel for forty years, during the golden age. He is known as one of the (if not the) wisest man of the Bible.

Zachariah - This is a name of Hebrew origin. It means remembered by the Lord. Zachariah was the husband to Elizabeth. He was the father to John the Baptist, who baptised the Lord Jesus Christ in the River Jordan.

Maybe this list of Bible names will inspire you. If not there are all sorts of names that you may consider for your baby boy. All you would have to do is look through the Bible.

That Peter means "rock". Peter was head of the Apostles, who also preached to them to be baptised in Jesus name. Found in the Book of Acts.
