Nancy Drew the Final Scene - the Puzzles

In Nancy Drew The Final Scene we are once again shown that the Nancy Drew games while similar, each has their own special touches. In this game Nancy has come to see her friend Maya Nguyen. Maya goes to Washington University and has the chance to go to Palladium Theater to get an interview from Brady Armstrong the lead actor of the newest show. Maya quickly goes missing and Nancy has to find her quickly because in three days the theater will be demolished with Maya inside because nobody believes that she is still in the building.

This Nancy Drew is slightly different because Nancy only has a certain amount of days to catch the bad guy. The days will be over when Joseph, a man who runs the projection, tells Nancy to get some rest. That will only happen if Nancy is able to find everything she needs to find for that specific day and only then will she move on. Unfortunately in this Nancy Drew computer game, there are not a lot of puzzles this time around.

Solving the Dance Puzzle

A puzzle in the lobby features a ballroom dancing couple who need to be moved from one area of the board to the end. The problem is every time Nancy moves the couple, two other game pieces move to block the couple in. The moves of the game are different depending on the skill level that was chosen at the beginning.

Once you get the couple to the end of the puzzle, Nancy Drew will be awards with a round, gold disk that she will need later.

Trap Door Safe Puzzle

When Nancy goes into the trap door back stage, she will eventually find a safe. After the safe is opened, Nancy will need to complete a puzzle. The puzzle is of a woman in a crown, surrounded by different animals. To make it easier to solve the puzzle, complete the edges that hold the animals. With those complete it is a simple matter of filling in the rest. The pieces can be rotated, so if something does not fit correctly, chances are it needs to be turned or it is an incorrect piece altogether.

Rabbit Slider Puzzle

This slider puzzle is much easier than other found in other Nancy Drew games. However, when Nancy tries to play with the puzzle, she discovers that the pieces are stuck. To play the game Nancy needs to leave the area. She will find that the door above her is also stuck. After a bit of screaming, Joseph will hear Nancy and hand her a bomb of grease to get the rabbit pieces unstuck.
