Nancy Drew - The Chinese Tapestry Puzzle #1
To solve the first puzzle behind the Chinese tapestry you simply need to match the animal to the animals in order of the Chinese New Year.
Nancy Drew - The Chinese Tapestry Puzzle #2
The Chinese tapestry puzzle is located near the end of the Message in a Haunted Mansion game and it will be found behind the tapestry in Nancy's bedroom. After solving one puzzle another will pop up and another and another. The first puzzle uses the Chinese characters that needed to be found for the highlights words on the tapestry. Using the characters that you should have written down, simply turn the knob to the correct symbol until you have gotten all of them.
Nancy Drew - The Chinese Tapestry Puzzle #3
After the second puzzle the safe will open and once you are finished it is time to solve another puzzle. There will be a grid with half moons on it. The amount of moons that show up depends on the level chosen at the start of the game. Clicking on a moon tile will cause it to flip over and show a sun. All the moons need to be changed to suns to complete this third puzzle. To solve the puzzle in Senior Detective mode flip over the second moon in the first row. Flip over the fourth moon in the second row. Flip the first moon in the third row and flip the third moon in the last row and the puzzle should be solved.
Nancy Drew - The Chinese Tapestry Puzzle #4
The last puzzle is the most difficult and annoying and can take multiple tries before you solve it. The puzzle is a slider puzzle and it is best to save the game before you begin the puzzle. Most slider puzzles need only a few moves to solve but people tend to move the pieces so much that they wreck the whole game. Save the game and then try to do the slider puzzle. The final picture is of the phoenix bird. A picture of the phoenix bird can be found in the mansion and you should pay close attention to it because knowing where the different pieces go is the key to solving this slider puzzle.
