Naples, Florida - One of the Fastest Goings Cities in the United States

For the past 14 years my husband, children and I have been taking our winter vacations in beautiful Naples Flordia known for one of the fastest growing cities in the Unites States, what a wonderful sight it is when you get off that plane and see the landscape, there is nothing like it on earth, the trees the flowers, even the smell, we live in a very cold city in the winter where we get alot of snow so when you visit Flordia in the winter you truly appreciate the sight.

We stay at our parents condo that they bought so they can live in Flordia for the winter months, it is just better for their health, Naples use to be known for a big retirement area but about the last ten years that has all changed, they have built up so much it does not even look the same from when I went as child with my parents.

Sure the traffic can be heavy and bothersom at times but you get that almost anywhere, I guess alot of people are starting to find out what
we already know, what a wonderful place to visit.

All down the beaches you will find high rise hotels and condos and places to eat, shop, play or just sight see if that is what you perfer.

We always visit a beach that is private which means you have to pay a yearly fee to visit but they do have plenty of public beaches as well, the beaches are so clean and the sands are so white where the water is so blue so when you are sunning yourself or swimming keep a watchful eye for the beautiful dolphins they love to show themselves, we usually see the dolphins which are only about 10 feet away from us atleast 3 times a week.

Nature lovers will have a feild day in any of the area's many parks and wildlife preserves. The everglades is the only ecosystem of its kind in the world. Flordia's state reptile, the American Alligator, thrives here, and believe me I know all about that, where we stay there is a creek behind us and I have one to many times seen some alligators back there so we do not go in the back yard often. You may even see raccoons, black bears, panthers, bobcats, rabbits , along with 300 varities of birds butterflies, manatees, dolphins and over 600 kinds of fish,
but I will be happy to say I have not run into any of the bears, bobcats or panthers

The food is also wonderful, we often visit The pewter Mug which is famour for the prime rib, they also have alot of otherdishes to chose from, like chicken,steaks, two very large salad bars and cocktail, it is located at 12300 North Tamiami trail, the prices are very reasonable as well, this is not a place to want to miss if you are ever in Naples, also another way to dine is at a cabana bar and I we really like Shane's bar
it is the newest outdoor chikee Bar built directly over the water, the spectacular views while you are eating are breathtaking, you can enjoy
hamburgs,salads, and some of the finest steaks aged to perfection on the premises as well as many desertsand a full bar.

You will never have to ask yourself what to do. They have so many things to choose from depending on what you like, you can golf,fish, take long walks on the beaches, rent boats, visit zoos, museums, and don't forget to visit all the shopping and resturants they have to offer.

I will say you won't be sorry you visited Naples Flordia, and you will want to go again and again. Enjoy yourself and Relax.
