Naruto Movie to Hit U.S Theatres in June!

Naruto has been a hit in Japan and neighboring Asian countries for years, it was only in the last couple years that Naruto hit the U.S television station Cartoon Network, and with it came a rush of enthusiasm for the show. Now, one of the Naruto movies that premiered in Japan in 2004, is finally set to make its U.S debut on June 6, 2007. The news of its coming is sure to cause anime fans a great deal of excitement, but it'll only be available in select theatres throughout the U.S. The catch to this great news is that the film is showing for only one night. For a list of theatres where the Naruto film will be showing see the NCMFathom Entertainment website where you can enter in your zip code to find a theatre near you.

Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow is a set before Sasuke left to join Orochimaru in his quest for power. Some Naruto watchers might find this a bit awkward, however, its important to remember that when the film was originally made the Sasuke story branch had yet to occur. Kakashi, along with his group of three students Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke take on a mission of escorting a popular actress to the set of her new movie. However, like most Naruto missions, nothing goes as planned and Naruto and company end up in the middle of a power struggle for the land, and the life of the mysterious actress they swore to protect.

The film is packed with the typical action, comedy, and drama that Naruto fans have come to expect from the series. In essence, the film is like a lengthened version of a typical episode with the running time marked at around 82 minutes long. While the film is packed with "Naruto terminology," it is still good for first time viewers. In fact, it might just be a decent introduction into the world of Naruto without having to sit through the 120 plus episodes Naruto has available at this point.

If you want tickets for this event its best to get them immediately as they are bound to sell out quickly. Moreover, subscribers of the popular manga publisher Shonen Jump are going to get first bid on available tickets. Ticket sales to the general public begin three days after the sales to Shonen Jump subscribers on April 30th. Check the NCM Fathom Entertainment Website for details, or call your local theatre for information.

Geez, way to spoil the plot line for US fans (Sasuke comment). It was a pointless comment too. If people were only watching the English shows then when this movie came they still wouldn't have known about Sasuke's leaving, as it hasn't happened yet in the U.S. However if they knew about Sasuke leaving that means they were watching the Japanese shows, and thus have probably already seen the movie ANYWAYS.
