NASA Photo Captures Hand of God?

A photo recently released by NASA captured a very strange image. The photo was taken by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory and clearly shows what appears to be a hand reaching for, or holding back a red cosmic light. The actual location of the image is a Nebula known as PSR B1509-58 and it is emitting high energy X-rays which form the image. The image is rather startling and quite vivid.

In the center of the photo is what clearly appears to be a blue hand which in turn appears to be reaching up to touch a red light. It could also be seen as holding back or pushing away the red light, depending on how you wanted to interpret the photo. While there have been many claims recently of people finding images of Christ or the Virgin Mary, this image is very clear and very well defined. That is not to say it is anything more than a naturally occurring phenomenon, but that is not to say it isn't something more either.

When you look at the photo it is almost impossible not to ask yourself, did this NASA image capture the hand of God? Is this a sign? Is it more than a wonder of nature, or is it divine influence manipulating nature for a higher purpose? The blue hand is very soft and non-threatening with an open palm. The blue light fades away at the wrist, but seems to hint at more. If you want to expand on the possible meaning of the image you need only to look at the bright white spot in the center of the hand. Is it possible that white area is representative of a nail mark with blood trailing away? Perhaps the hand does not belong to God, but to the Son of God.

If a person where to believe this is more than a natural occurrence, what then would we make of the red light the hand is touching or holding back? Does it symbolize hell, evil, or perhaps the end of the world? Random natural events which came together at just the right angle to make an interesting picture, or is it something more? That is something each of us will have to decide for ourselves. Throughout the Bible God consistently uses the elements of nature to convey signs, inflict punishments, and to announce great events. It would be easy to dismiss this photo as nothing more than a light show, a trick played on us by nature. It would be easy, but would it be correct?
