The Nascar Foundation was established in 2006 to bring together the multitude of charities and initiatives that are near and dear to the family that is Nascar. Drivers, fans, corporate sponsors, all unite under one banner to support the things that touch us all. Over the years in has inspired celebrities such as Kevin Costner, Kelly Clarkson and others to join in their support.

What is your weakness? The Nascar foundation raises money and awareness for several causes. Children's health, literacy, under privileged families, animal health and conservation, nature conservation, and many others including specialized charities for specific diseases and disabilities like Autism and Cancer.

Once a year, the Friday before the ALL STAR event the foundation holds it's biggest collaborative event, NASCAR DAY.

For a donation, as little as 5 dollars, you can receive a commemorative Nascar Day pin. In wearing it you can join the thousands of companies, fans, and drivers in the united effort to give back.

In 2008 alone the funds raised by the nascar foundation's NASCAR DAY event made over 1.3 million dollars in donations to over 50 charitable organizations.

Victory Junction Gang Camp is one of the most notable, and recognized organizations supported. Last year the funds raised by Nascar Day made a donation of $450,000 to send kids to camp completely free of charge.
