Jimmie and his wife Chandra launched the Jimmie Johnson Foundation in February 2006. The mission of the foundation is to help needy families and children across the United States and help them pursue their dreams. The American Red Cross, San Diego Habitat for Humanity, Hendrick Marrow Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Victory Junction Gang Camp are the organizations that the Jimmie Johnson Foundation supports. Through their grant program, they have also donated to the Robbie Loomis Foundation and Randy Dorton Foundation.
Tony Stewart's generosity started long before the Tony Stewart Foundation even began in 2003. The Victory Junction Gang Camp, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Special Olympics Indiana, and Ronald McDonald's Children's Charities are a few or the organizations that have been helped by the Tony Stewart Foundation. In 2003 and again in 2006, The Tony Stewart Foundation donated One Million dollars to the Victory Junction Gang Camp.
The mission of the Dale Jarrett Foundation is to provide contributions and grants for the religious, physical, social and educational needs of children and families trying to cope in today's society. Dale and his wife Kelley created the foundation in February of 2002. Brenner's Children's Hospital, the Make-A-Wish Foundation, the Victory Junction Gang Camp, the Susan G. Komen Foundation, and the American Cancer Society are just a few of the organizations that have been helped by the Dale Jarrett Foundation.
The newly created Dale JR Foundation is focused on giving underprivileged children the resources to improve confidence, education, and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary goals. Dale JR created the foundation in October of 2007 to help open doors for people who do not have the step up in the world as he realizes he did by carrying the Earnhardt name. The Dale JR Foundation supports the Victory Junction Gang Camp, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and the Oak Ridge Military Academy. The foundation has also established a grant fund for other organizations and foundations looking to get help for the Dale JR Foundation.
This is part 2 of just a brief synopsis of how NASCAR drivers and their families have helped many people across the United States. The drivers understand that their help and support could make a difference to a multitude of people. They are dedicated to supporting and donating to help other peoples dream come true.
