What is catching my attention with the kick off of the season is the following week there will be a raffle to win Dale Earnhardts car to benefit Charity. It will go to The Make a Wish Foundtion. It is one of the most credible and nationally recognized childrens charities. The raffle of Earnhardt's Chevrolet Monte Carlo Orange Wheaties #3 race car, will benefit Edgewood Children's Ranch and The Make-a-Wish Foundation. The race car was Driven by Dale Earnhardt in five races between 1993-1995. Tickets for the raffle are $20 each. The deadline to purchase a ticket is 4 p.m. on Feb. 23, 2008. The drawing for the winning ticket will take place Feb. 23, 2008 at Olde Town in Kissimmee, Fla. Ticket holders do not have be present to win.
The Winner of this raffle will not only be getting a steal on the car but they will be helping out a great childrens charity. I am glad to see that NASCAR is teaming up with Make a Wish. If Dale Earnhardt was still here today I am sure he would have been thrilled to see his old car being put to good use. Should you enter I wish you the best of luck in this raffle. Dont forget to go make your contribution today for a great cause and a chance to win Dale's car.
