NASCAR Nationwide Nashville 300: Odds to Win & Picks

Kyle Busch at 9-4 is Heavily Favored to Win Another Guitar

Todd Jacobs
Kyle Busch is favored to take home another Sam Bass designed Gibson guitar trophy from Nashville this Saturday, in the NASCAR Nationwide Nashville 300 but be assured this guitar will remain in one piece, this time.
Busch won his first NASCAR Nashville race last year and proudly proclaimed before the race he would destroy the Sam Bass designed Gibson when he got out of his car. Harmless fun that was blown way out of proportion mainly because it was Kyle Busch, see ESPN NASCAR NOW, you tube video here.

It is hard to bet against NASCAR Nationwide champ, Kyle Busch on this concrete 1.5 mile tri oval but with a price of 9-4, there isn't much value in betting on the younger Busch. Another reason to pass on Busch this weekend is he hasn't been racing NASCAR Nationwide on a regular schedule this year. Don't completely pass on Busch we will include him later.

Two weeks ago we pulled of the 60-1 long shot with Justin Allgaier. Undervalued at 60-1, Allgaier was a great pick for Bristol (see story here). Anyone that placed that bet on Allgaier at the Las Vegas Hilton for 20 dollars won $1200! Definitely the biggest winner of the year thus far. Allgaier is not getting much more respect from the Las Vegas Hilton Superbook this weekend, Allgaier is 20-1 to win this week.

Jason Leffler at 30-1 is the best bet and long shot bet.
Starting off strong again for Nashville, Jason Leffler is a solid pick at 30-1. Jason Leffler won his first career NASCAR Nationwide race at Nashville and although he hasn't shown much in 2010, look for him to pick up steam at Nashville.

Brad Keselowski at 8-1 is second choice.
Driving the Penske NASCAR Nationwide cars agrees with Brad Keselowski and he has continued to run at the front of the field even though he has completely changed cars and crew chiefs. Not an easy task. AS Keselowski settles in with new Penske Dodge team look for him to win more than a couple races this year and without the distraction of driving his NASCAR Cup car this week he will be solid.

Justin Allgaier is third choice at 20-1.
Penske Dodge power may be better than the Toyota engines this year. The way the two Dodges jumped off the corners two weekends ago at Bristol, could foretell how the rest of the NASCAR Nationwide series will go. Allgaier will be putting tons of pressure on Sam Hornish to perform this year in NASCAR Cup because Allgaier will be ready at the end of 2010 to graduate to the NASCAR Sprint Cup circuit.

A few drivers to also take a look at with long odds are the Rust Wallace Incorporated drivers, Steven Wallace and Brendan Gaughn, both at 75-1. These two have been snake bit all year and most of last year and when they break through it will be a track like this. Think about a small five dollar bet on these two. Just think about it, make sure you are feeling lucky.

Entire field of NASCAR Nationwide Driver Odds (Las Vegas Hilton Superbook).

Kyle Busch 9-4.
Kevin Harvick 7-2

Carl Edwards 7-2.
Joey Logano 7-2.
Brian Keselowski 8-1.

Scott Wimmer 30-1.
Field 30-1.
Brian Scott 40-1.
Paul Menard 40-1.
Justin Allgaier 60-1.
Trevor Bayne 60-1.
Colin Braun 75-1.

Brendan Gaughn 75-1.
Johnny Sauter 100-1.
Colin Braun 100-1.
Ricky Stenhouse Jr. 100-1.
Michael Annett 100-1.

As always shop the lines if there is a favorite driver you are looking for. Don't go crazy on the bets as anyone can win, just bet for fun.
