On June 1, 1994, downtown Nashville saw an old fashioned cattle drive as country star Reba McIntyre took the stage at the Wildhorse Saloon's grand opening. Once a three-level historic warehouse, the Wildhorse Saloon is now a 66,000 square foot live music and dance venue, restaurant, bar, and T.V. studio in one.
Only at the Wildhorse Saloon can you see horses dance across the ceiling. Behind the ticket booth and at the bar, these trademark horses are just one part of Nashville's #1 Dining and Entertainment destination. With both regional and national awards, the Wildhorse has the largest T.V. screen in all of Nashville and is the largest per capita restaurant in all of Tennessee. Being part T.V. studio, this location has been the setting for several T.V. shows and tapings, including "Can You Duet?" and CMT's "Gone Country".
As a family-style venue, the Wildhorse Saloon welcomes people of all ages and can host student programs, as well as tour groups for their older patrons. However, after 10:00pm, minors may be required to wear wristbands and, of course, you must be 21 to order alcohol. Some special concerts may require you to be 18 or older in order to gain entrance. This venue is also non-smoking in compliance with the Tennessee smoking ban.
Although the dance lessons are free, there is a cover charge for their live entertainment. The cover charge starts at 7:00 pm and can run from $4.00 (Tuesday through Thursday) to $6.00 (Friday and Saturday). This, of course, excludes special events and national concerts where cover charge and time may vary. Concert tickets can be purchased from Ticket Master and the Wildhorse Saloon retail store and box office.
Past acts have included Trace Adkins, Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans, Rascal Flatts, Montgomery Gentry, Vince Gill, Alan Jackson, Lonestar, Wynonna Judd, Joe Nichols, Trick Pony, Diamond Rio, Sugarland, Keith Urban, Hank Williams, Jr., Trisha Yearwood. And they are always adding more music groups from multiple genres to their nightly lineup.
Whatever the occasion (holiday, birthday, or promotion), the Wildhorse Saloon is always ready to party. Simply call to check on availability and you can reserve space, room, floor, or even the whole club for the night of your life. They even take requests for other musical or non-musical acts. The Wildhorse is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure your experience is one to remember.
Private parties with fewer than 20 guests can be signed up for priority seating (Monday through Thursday evening) with just one call. Groups of over 20 must call for a reservation, but the Wildhorse is quite capable of handling indoor parties of up to 2,000 guests. Intimate gatherings of up to 5,000 are set up under the stars on the beautiful banks of the Cumberland River.
For a more private setting, one can rent the Riverview room which overlooks the Titan football stadium and the Cumberland River. This room comes fully loaded and is mostly used for rehearsal dinners, corporate gatherings, company presentations, the VIP area for national acts, and any other gathering of up to 100 guests. The 3rd floor, an upscale billiards area with pool tables and dart boards overlooking the dance floor, can be reserved for parties of up to 250 guests. Smaller parties can reserve space on both the 1st and 2nd floors.
