Many people will remember Joran Van Der Sloot as a suspect in the 2005 Natalie Holloway disappearance and likely murder. Now police are looking for Joran Van Der Sloot again as a possible suspect in the killing and stabbing death of another young woman-this one occurring in Peru.

Holloway is believed to have been murdered while vacationing in Aruba, though Van Der Sloot has attempted to describe her as a runaway or kidnap victim. The high achieving senior high school student, Natalie Holloway, was last seen on a beach in the company of Van der Sloot. Two Surinamese youths and friends of Van der Sloot were also suspected, but had told police that they had dropped Joran and Natalie off at the beach and then gone home.

Neither police, nor prosecutors, nor various authorities and personnel who aided in the search for Natalie Holloway were able to resolve Holloway's disappearance. Although Joran Van der Sloot was arrested twice, he was released when the prosecution determined it had insufficient evidence to prosecute Van Der Sloot. The case caused bitter feelings among Holloway family members and sympathizers as it was believed that the Aruban authorities were unduly influenced by Joran Van Der Sloot's father, a former Aruban judge, since deceased.

In the latest story, breaking on network television today, police are searching for Joran Van Der Sloot in connection with the disappearance five days ago of a Peruvian woman, Tatiana Flores Ramirez, aged 21. At the end of that disappearnace, Tatiana Flores Ramirez' bloody body was found savagely beaten and stabbed to death in the hotel room booked in Joran Van Der Sloot's name.

Joran Van Der Sloot is reported to have entered Peru May 14 and departed Peru May 31. Police believe the young woman was murdered on Monday, the day Van Der Sloot departed Peru.

An international arrest warrant has been issued for Joran Van Der Sloot, reported to have left Peru and embarked for Argentina. Van Der Sloot had entered Peru to play in a poker tournament, and was seen by witnesses in the company of the murdered woman at the hotel and at a nearby casino.

I am so happy they finally have him it is a shame tho another young lady had to die to prove him out. My heart goes out to her family and friends may she forever be that sweet young lady that they will always remember her in that light. God bless them.

I have my own travel ban on Aruba since that case. Didn't know the Van Der Sloot father was dead...too bad he couldn't have witnessed his son's comeuppance before kicking the bucket. Hopefully, we will see justice served soon. Fine report Anthony!

incredible incompetence on the part of the authorities in Aruba. Excellent report. :)

Yes, they do just "keep going" which is pretty amazing, but the vicious thing is that this latest victim would still be alive if the Aruban prosecutors were competent and honest. They should have let the FBI help, but noooooo! We had to preserve our little banana kingdom...and save it from those awful Americans who merely come there to spend money...
